    Default VRAY Settings

    hello guys what are the best settings for Exterior Renderings in Vray 2.0 incl Camera Lights?
    i use Vray phycal Cam 120 Film speed 120 Shutter Speed 120 F number is 1.4 or 1.2 (Gamma is set to 2.2) color maping is Reinhard multiplier and burn value .85/.1 but images look dark. sun is target direct using manual sun node in vray sky please help

    There are no "best settings", every scene is differet. Learn the software?

    Why don't you make a fresh new scene, then merge your geometry and assign a grey 128,128,128 color to all (or mtl override) and then create an also new VRay Sun+Sky and an also new Vray camera and use all by defaults. Start there and move settings according to what you want. f-number and shutter speed for amount of light and white balance for overall light/shadow color.

    And you could also post some images and settings.

    i know dude there r no best settings but it is abt the rig of lights and cam(physical) which will give me bright and warm lights in to my scene

    Though you did not directly, the Q was in the same line as spoon-feed request, and you must try by yourself and check the results. Only if you hit a roadblock may you turn to someone for help, tips, etc. Also, learning a few things about (real) photography with lighting and image composition would help you understand a few points more in this direction.

    no dude u got me wrong i know there is no hard and fast rule. i m wndering if there is any that is why i asked nothing like i want all settings, i do use my own tech. i think i should change the question cause it is not giving what i want or i intended. thaks.
