Seems I'm back...

Not exactly a new user, but I haven't been on here much in the last few years so I figured I'd reintroduce myself. I went to architecture school and worked for a Boston firm doing design, drafting and visualizations until the recession made me go solo, which wasn't particularly productive.

I went to law school and did some interesting things ranging from civil rights to corporate mergers (and before you ask, various rules keep me from giving legal advice except for "you should ask a local lawyer about that") before deciding I missed this. As of last week I'm working for a small firm in Cambridge.

Over the next couple months I plan to rework my web site and bring back the technical writing and computer recommendations, and show the voluminous photo gallery I've been building up.

Glad you are back, Andrew. You helped me build a workstation in 2011, that is rock solid, and very fast! There is no one else I would even consider asking for advice for a computer build, based on that experience.

Funny thing, I took a break from architecture and went back to school too - couldn't stand it :D!

3-things you learn in almost 30-years of work:

1. What you're good at

2. What you aren't good at, and

3. Who not to work for!
