Vray Distributed Rendering!!

Hi Guys. im danni from colombia.

 

im trying to use distributed rendering, and it works, but i found that some textures dosen´t appear on the final render. someone know what im making wrong? im on 3ds max 2014 + vray 2.40

No i can´t

and i dont know how to make the paths manually, also i dont know if i have to copy the material library to the other computers to make it work,

 

also i dont know the difference between the status on the ASSET TRACKING (Shift+T)

To manually path them all you do is right click on the path and choose set path and then choose the location on the network where it is.

 

If you don't understand what a UNC path is it would be something like \\server\c\jobs\house\maps rather than Z:\\jobs\house\maps. I hope that makes sense.

 

It's not difficult so give it a go. Just make sure you path through network neighbourhood, rather than a mapped drive on your computer.

 

If your network machines can't see the location of your maps, then you will need to resolve that.
