craigmonroe1 Posted January 10, 2014 Share Posted January 10, 2014 Sometimes when I'm modeling and I come across complicated geometry I enjoy sorting it out on paper. I don't have to but i think its fun. I also did this when I was first introduced to max in 2008 in order to get my brain thinking in 3d because all I ever did was 2d work. We can stare at the PC monitor far too often, and something that seems hard actually isn't when you take a step back and think about it a little, before jumping straight in. Physically producing visual art is basic to who we are as humans. My "problem" is that a lot of drawing works, I simply finished visualizing in my head. And ot works for me 100%.
