New workstation build advice

Hi guys I'm new to the forum and wanted some advice on a new workstation budget is £3000 max

 

Processor - i7 4960x extreme edition

mothorboad - Asus p9x79 LE

RAM - 64 GB Kingston DDR3 1600

graphics - Titan 6GB GTX

SSD - 240GB

HHD - 2 TB

 

any advice would be welcome, should i be looking at a xeon quadro card setup ?

Hi there I use 3ds max with V-Ray, Photoshop, CAD

 

Both 4960X and GTX Titan are overkill for pretty much anything related with those...

You will get practically all the performance of the above with a 4930K and GTX 780(non Ti - or 770).

 

The only advantage going Titan is 6GB of VRam, which you will only come close to utilizing if you are rendering complex scenes with VRay RT GPU (not the regular VRay that DOES NOT USE GPU, like EVER) or you run games at very high resolutions and/or with modded textures.
