Contrasting Square Trails

I was wondering if I could get some help.

 

It seems my renderer is rendering different areas at different contrasts creating a sort of mixed boxy look.

I'm not sure what I've done or how this happens. I'm using an Evermotion scene to show my building and when the render is done I get a few "Image I/O Error" messages with a file address and options to retry or cancel.

 

Perhaps this has something to do with it? Im not sure.
