So i decided to work on the environment a bit. This is what I have till now..im happy with the composition and overal environment..still need to add more details to make the scene more believable and also more low poly trees in the background. Some feedback would be aprreciated.

P.s. this scene is based in an Caribbean environment.

It's technically really great! Textures and modelling is top notch!

I think the photographic composition could use a bit more consideration though, such as moving the horizon line from dead centre to follow the "rule of thirds" to achieve a bit more balance. Could use a bit more contrast and even a tiny bit of over-exposed highlights and glare. It's also a little difficult to tell what the focus is in some of the images, my eye wanders all over - partially to see the cool details in the grass and paint etc... - but partially because there's nothing to focus on. For example, the last image you posted, my eyes can't help but look at the blue barrels and garbage bag. Were you planning on putting in DOF in post?

Hey thnks for the feedback...I'm still fiddling with the composition to find a good comp..but i'm currently more focused on the texturing process(takes quite some time especially when u put dirt and imperfections)..but I love it :p..about the focus point.. that will be a red car on the road, that is about to enter the garage. (thats what I have in mind as focus point) The road and the pole wires (horizontal line) I will use as guidance to lead the users eye's to the red car. And yes the Dof, highlights and minor tweaking will all be done in post. :D

hehe yeah I get tunnel vision too when fiddling with details too. You can use a trick that us photographers use to check for balance - flip the image horizontally to compare with the original. It kind of jump starts your brain and helps you see whether its balanced or not.

Can't wait to see more!

That looks awesome! It has quite a cinematic quality to it now with the high camera angle, looks great! I wonder what it would look like with someone walking to/away from the car? Or maybe someone leaning over the driver window chatting with the driver ;) haha! Since it's not necessarily an architecte-specific, have some fun with the story telling!

Hey thnks!! Yes some ppl in it will be quite awesome..gonna have to google some good quality 2d people pics so I can add in it..For the storytelling it does have some background in it..I recreate this image that suppose to reflect on my childhood days when I was living in the Caribbean :D. The time when u were free..no stress, no worries just living life day by day.. having fun playing outside with your neighbour friends on the road till sunset. (the good life)

I want to put children's playing football on road but I can't model 3d people yet. U think 2d people cutout will work fine?

Awesome, sounds lovely!

2d people would totally work, but it might take some digging to find the right images but it will be worth it! Pay close attention to perspective (as your camera angle is high) and then correct the white balance in post if you need to.

I typically set my camera angle at eye level/tripod level for exterior shots, which makes it a bit more realistic and easier to find the right entourage. Interior shots I go much lower to about counter-top height, which helps make the room appear more spacious - it's a photography trick! I'm rambling now.

Looks awesome, Edward! I love that pop of red that really draws your focus! It's come a long way from the first trials for sure, it has a lot more clarity now I think. Really, excellent work!

Now if only I had the technical skill to pull off something like that, that'd be great ;) haha
