torstenmiddelkoop Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 Hello, I am wondering if anyone of you have experience with creating a realistic Translucent Concrete vray material? I need to have this material for the concrete walls i have in my model. I tried opacitymaps, refraction with fog colours, but it still gets nowhere near the images i attached as reference. Nic H Posted January 22, 2015 Share Posted January 22, 2015 where are your tests? looks like it works best with a very strong backlight or internal light. this should be very easy with simple geometry and some glossy refract and reflect maps, perhaps with displacement for the fine detail.
