AutoCAD 2002: the file of drawing is damaged.

But you didn't save it at the customers computer with a newer ACAD?

If not, you should first look for a .sv$ file with the same name to save it. (windows search *.sv$ or the whole name - should be located in the temp folder)

If the date of the autosave file is ok you can rename it to .dwg and use it.

If not you can manually try the recovery tool on your dwg file: "File>Drawing Utilities>Recover"

And then there should be still the older .bak file in your project folder.

In the program click on File - select Utilities and click Recover. Or at the command prompt, enter code _.RECOVER. The file must be restored! In that case, if the standard restore does not help, then take advantage of DWG Recovery Kit. Just in case here is the link
