Here is what I did after two weeks of practice. The second piece ever made, the first I made without guidance. Getting your honest feedback and some tips would be great. Thank you in advance!

Hi Christoph,

 

I think it looks pretty good. A few small things for me:

 

1. try to chamfer or round off the edges of the brick wall, they are very sharp.

2. same brick wall, see if you can get the brick rows to align as the turn the corners

3. The bottom of the red label bottle on the counter looks like it's in the counter. Maybe raise it up?

4. I like how the left side is overexposed, but maybe bring it back a little so we can see more shadows coming from the window counter.

Thank you for writting to me! You are completly right! I will afjust those things you are mentioning. I think they will improve the result! I'll rerender to exr format, I rendered straight to png, it would be nice now to adjust some of the lighting in post production... I'll show the result later this week.
