Whats your favorite tool, plug-in or program?

Do you have a favorite tool, plug-in or mabey some sort of "trick" you

use that takes your imagery to the next level. Be it in 3ds max or photoshop

or whatever program.

I know its a really vague question but I cant help feeling that thiers so

much out their that i don't know about. It seems like every time I look

at the fantastic work in the gallery I'm left feeling like a real amateur who hasn't

even scraped the surface of 3D Visualization.

I'll get the ball rolling by saying that I love the dodge tool in photoshop, it's a hell of a way to get your cars all nice and shiny

Straight up Photoshop I like High Pass filter set to overlay to add sharpness or invert it to do the opposite. Also painting with black and white on a blank overlay layer to dodge and burn non-destructively.

 

For plugins I like the stuff from Topaz Labs. Really fun and pretty inexpensive. I use Clarity and Impression.
