Fixing the Architects 2d plans

I still come across a lot of mistakes when working from 2d Cad plans. Missing linework, elevations that don't line up, mis-matching walls or roofs or my pet hate, double linework.

I end up fixing these errors myself and then letting the client know about it. Most of the time the client is happy to have this extra level of visualisation to find these kinds of errors. Using Revit and Archicad type programs certainly eliminates this kind of problem but its still a problem in 2d land.

Do you tell your client about the mistakes you find in the 2d plans? or do you quietly work around them? Interested to know.

Yeah the model still has to get built so I tend to just fill in the gaps and improvise. I'll let the client know if theres any major errors cause they tend to appreciate it. But I don't fix the actual cad plans, just the model. That would be a waste of time.
