This is a WIP, should be ready on this weekend, is a restaurant project.
C&C Welcome (specially design ones) BTW, the lamp mapping you see is done by following a Smoke3d tutorial on the resources section. more info on the floor and earlier images on this thread: http://forums.cgarchitect.com/7834-need-help-mosaic-floor.html Last edited by salf; November 17th, 2004 at 03:07 PM. |

It looks like your material for the column just needs to be clipped, to exclude the bright streak. While I don't like the design of the floor, I think it has come a long way. It really looks like a bumpy mosaic, and since that was the intention, congrats.

Maybe a slight diffuse glow on your lamp shades on the ceiling and then set the tables with plates, silverware, glasses and flower/bud vases. Nice image.

thanks for the tips.
I will add glasses and plates at the end, just for the final image. RIght now im trying to change the column in the middle, im trying to make it a big tall lamp, fill it with fluorescent lights, and then cover it with a perforated wooden box, but i cant get it right, heres the test i did, as you can see it only look slike a yellow material, but i wanted to glow. ![]() |

Most flourescent lights are not that color, they are a cooler blue, with a little purple. I have not seen a flourescent that is that saturated yellow. It is a neat idea though.
