INTERIORS: 2 interior wips im working on

hi there

here are two wips im currently working on, both using cinema 4d xl v9 with a little photoshop.

the first is our bedroom, i want to try and get the UK feel to it. as i live in the UK. i think it is getting there now. i dont want an over exposed (normalish) archi visual here but a more natural mood to it.

 

 

the next one is a more simple scene, its a none existant room. i just wanted to try and create a feeling of cosyness to the shot. using the chair as the main focal point

 

what are your thoughts, are they heading in the right direction?

Hi there Dave, that looks very nice, I think you got the mood you wanted, it's not to exposed, but natural and calm. I really like it.

 

Modeling is OK, except the drapes that hang a bit strange.

Colors and textures are excellent IMHO.

yeah those curtains are going to get deleted and thrown in the bin forever. i hate them and am planning on remodelling them soon. i will post an update once done.

Yep, though it's a bit dark overall, maybe decrease shadow amount a bit.

I won't mention the carpet, cause I first thought it's a hole in the ground
