Irradiance map buckets giving strange results from my render node

Can anybody explain this.

 

When rendering in 3D max 2014 with vray, I use 2 render nodes for distributed rendering but one of them gives me strange bucket results when calculating the irradiance map.

 

I've attached an example.

 

Hope someone can help. The final image is fine though.
