How to include ambient occlusion in final render without using Photoshop?

Hi!

I hope you can help me here. I am doing renders in 3ds max with Vray. I will use only materials without any textures. If I render ambient occlusion as a seperate pass and save it and postprocess image in Photohop I lose a lot of time. Its not practical for my needs.

I want that my final Vray render in 3ds max includes ambient occlusion, so that I do not need to use photoshop for every single image. Can that be done in 3ds max and how?

I have been thinking:

1. using compostite material or

2. adding vray dirt in one of map slots under vray material.

I have not been able to do it yet and figure it out alone.

Thx
