Phoenix FD and REBUS Farm

I have to render out thousands of frames that need to be rendered using REBUS farm with a Phoenix water simulation. My question is, should I run a simulation and save the frames before I submit the job to REBUS. If I do will that save me on REBUS point calculations? (as rebus won't have to render out those frames) Or can it even pick up that I've done that?

I've asked REBUS directly but they weren't much help, just wondering if anyone on your side has had experience do that.
