Default Yacht Salon WIP

Hi,

We use Rhino for modelling and VRay for rendering. This a a rendering of a salon of a catamaran.

Any critiques and comments are very welcome. We've recently made a change from Mental Ray to VRay and love it, but we still have a little learning to do.

Thanks

Hi there, I see you have Greek surname. Greetings from sunny Greece.
The render does have a professional look, the only thing I would like to point out is that there are some quite dark areas there. But that's just my taste (or my tft calibration!).

Looks really nice. I like it a lot, feels nice and warm. The only thing I am not sure about is the view angle. Makes me feel a little like I am on a boat, rocking up and down! Looking down is fine, it's the slight tilt that seems odd.

Nice image, though.

It is ... a boat.

My only issues are:

the overly strong sun spots on the floor. The light does not appear that strong on the sill where the tiny TV and the plant are...why on the floor?

Also, the railing seems to get much fatter at the top--view angle issue?

Otherwise very nice.

Did you try views from down at the regular person's eyepoint being in the dining room?

Could you please post some info on your lighting setup.
I'm working on a yacht as well. And I have almost the same exact camera setup.

I'm working on the lighting of my scene "main salon" for almost 3 days now without any improvements.

So I decided to go back to Radiosity ... but its just not looking good.

I would really really appreciate your help !!!

Thanks in advance.
