cullen Posted January 26, 2005 Share Posted January 26, 2005 If the drawing that you're trying to open doesn't have any AEC objects you can use Autodesk migration tools and convert the drawing to at 2000 format without having to use AutoCAD. When you finish that, open the drawing through recovery. If you don't have the migration tools installed, you should be able to find them on your 2004 cd or through the Autodesk support center. Have you searched Autodesk's support center for that error? Sometimes it tells an exact fix for a common error. Hope that helps.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ridwan Posted January 29, 2005 Share Posted January 29, 2005 You might also rename a recent .BAK or .SV$ to .DWG and restore your drawing.
