Hi all,
I learned a lot from your discussions and always wanted work with GI. Recently our office upgraded to AutoDesk Viz 5.o and started experimenting with Mental ray. This is my first post here...please guide me to improve the final out put. Thanks in advance.. Last edited by Haitham; March 23rd, 2005 at 05:04 AM. |

nice work hitham, but i think the main problem is the GI raduis, to prevent the light leakage you'll have to set the radius to a less value than your walls thickens... if you want to use daylight to illuminate the scene then make the spot lights weaker.
no need for caustics here as you dont have any glass to refract & reflect light. if you get a dark render try to increase the GI energy or trace depth (if you use MRay materials). if you need more help just ask & keep on trying till u there |
