*guys..im using old vray v.1.09.03N..i have this WIP, a lobby with a dome. there's only one light source in the scene, free-point light with vray shadows. my problem is why there's some dark spots on the cornice. the object is a line-then bevel profile-with UVW map...pls help

Yeah, first thing you might try is setting the "interp samples " to a higher number, the default is 20, try 30 or 40. This will kind of smooth out the irradiance map.

Your Hsph Subdv's are way to low... they need to be around 30 or 50 and your interpolated samples need ot be around 50 or 60
