  1. Hi cg architect, I lost my vray for sketchup dongle unfortunately. And I have deadlines to meet unfortunately. I already contacted local reseller, See if they can find me a new dongle and reactivate my license. I read from the thread http://forums.cgarchitect.com/73287-lost-vray-dongle-2.html That you guys can help me set up a new dongle. I use vray for SKETCHUP though. Please help if the local reseller fails me. And I will purchase a new dongle asap from Cgarchitect . I really have a job that will be due in 4-5 days Also I can purchase one from here, right?? http://shop.cgarchitect.com/hardware/chaos-group-wibu-usb-license-dongle-domestic.html

  7. hi everyone, i am choosing using vray or mental for my 3ds max rendering. i want to know which one is easier to learn and i am afraid that mental ray will take longer to set up. i know people will say learn mental ray first, because it's free and can also get the same result like vray....well, anyway, i still find it hard to decide which one to continue study, because neither one will be an easy learning subject. PS. I am hoping i can learn vray or mental in a month; i will use one hour per day. thanks everyone in advance.
  8. i know sketchup can use tape measurement tool(basically its a ruler) for setting guides. i wonder how can i get very accurate in 3ds max, any tools that can help me set measurement guides and help me create accurate models? i know sketchup is very good and very easy at setting guides and measurements ? sorry i am a newbie. ps. i am in custom made furniture business. to create size accurate furnitures is very important. thats why i really wanted to find out how can i create size accurate model easily and accurately.
