  1. First thing I'd check is if you are you using realistic values for the diffuse in your materials. This article helped me out a great deal: http://bertrand-benoit.com/blog/the-photographic-look/
  2. There's a series by Veronica in which she models a scandinavian house using poly modeling that is the best I've seen on this particular topic, it's in slovenian but it's quite easy to follow anyway even without understanding what's being said. Here are the links: Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Also I uploaded the CAD files Juraj posted if you want to follow along here: CAD Files Cheers.
  3. I got You Need a Budget on a whim in a steam sale a few years ago and it's pretty good; seems to be exactly what you need, check it out: http://store.steampowered.com/app/227320/
  4. Hello Julio, Very good replies already, just chiming in to say that you could also use Railclone to parameterize your door, same as the windows in this tutorial: http://www.itoosoft.com/tutorials/tutorial_parameterise_windows.php Cheers.
  5. http://renderpeople.com http://www.vizpark.com/ http://www.maxtree.org/ http://cgaxis.com/ http://rendering.ru/ru_en/models.html These are from the top of my head, there's lots of good ones I'm forgetting I'm sure.
  6. Adán Martin has three video tutorials showcasing three different ways to make rugs, the hair & fur one he does look like it can be combed closely to what you need. It's in spanish but easy to follow anyway:
