  1. BTW, thanks for the link but i have looked i through about 10 times
  2. Sure. I hope this will do.
  3. It seams i have solved the problem! I messed around with mapping and noticed a projection called "Spherical". After a lot of adjusting its a much better fit than planer and box projection. Judge for yourself. Now there is only kind of a seam from the midle of the seat and out, but its ok for now. THANKS FOR YOUR FEEDBACK! :-)
  4. No, this is actually the single method i am using. If i try using the devided method it looks even worse. But that is exactly what makes this problem so strange.
  5. The projection mapping is set to box. That is apparently why these strange seams occur arround the edges. I know what you mean, but i dont think that is a possibility in rhino without some sort of plugin.
  6. Benjamin, exactly. Also, if you take a really close look at the "seams" it would appear as if the actual "seam" itself consists of the texture, but repeated many many times. I really appreciate all your replies.
  7. So.. I tried it and it didn´t fix the problem. BUT in the process i made the projection mapping bit bigger, and for some strange reason it fixet the smaller texture seam in the middle part of the seat. I messed around with it to see if i could fix the seams on the sides using this method, but it didn´t do anything.
  8. What do you mean with "unwraping" ? I dont have any lights in the sceen except from the GI skylight. I have tried to minimize things in the sceen to help troubleshoot this.
  9. Maybe i should mention that the mapping projection here is "Box". If i simply use a "surface" projection the result is even worse, see attachment. It seams like v-ray cant apprehend the edges :-/
  10. Hey Krisztian, thanks for the reply. The material actually doesent have a reflection layer. It only has a diffuse layer with the bitmap texture.
  11. Hi everyone. I am having a major problem with mapping seams when mapping in V-Ray. I have attached two images to illustrate my problem. One of the renderings are done with Rhino´s own render engine, the other is done with V-Ray´s engine. The mapping and everything is the same on both pictures, but for some reason V-Ray creates these very apparent mapping seams. I have tried everything i can think of to fix this, but nothing have worked. I really hope that there are someone in here who can help me out. I am using Rhino 4.0 SR9, V-Ray 01,05,29 Thanks!
