  1. thanks everyone. I read somewhere that you can look up your camera settings at dpreview.com to find out what the width of the cameras sensor size is. This help in determining the correct focal length when inputting into 3d max camera settings.
  2. Hi have a 3d house model and would like to put it against a 2d image. I am having real difficulties with aligning the house perspective with the camera position. I have placed cardboard boxes in the scene whilst taking the photos to help me with camera point poisiotn but am the camera alignment is not right. Can anyone help me with this? I have read somewhere that lower camera focal point amounts can cause difficulties. Does anyone have any methods which work for them? Thankyou.
  3. I'm doing a manual match. I'll try using camera match. Thankyou.
  4. cameramatch script might be good for those without Max 2014? Maciej, yes I did have safe frames turned on. Should I turn this off?
  5. Hi, Can anyone tell me the proper workflow when preparing a 3D scene for a 2D image. I am using 3D max and have placed my 2D background image as the viewport background with the correct aspect ratio. I've rendered my scene out and when transfered to photoshop against the 2D image, the angles nopt the same as they were in 3D max. This is annoying as I am after realism. Is there a 3rd party program which can help me gain the correct angles? Kind Regards,
