  3. CL3VER, the cloud based platform for interactive 3D presentations, has announced the release of a brand new WebGL GPU-based real-time lightmap technology that will be available for users in the upcoming CL3VER 3.0 version. CL3VER 3.0 will add several game changing features that speed up the production workflow of cross platform interactive 3D presentations. The CL3VER 3.0 will be released March 11 and it will include: A brand new WebGL GPU-based real-time lightmap technology: By leveraging the performance of today’s GPUs within the artists workstations and laptops, CL3VER is able to dramatically improve the real-time lightmap rendering workflow. An improved importing system: to better support all compatible 3D formats, making the process to import models much faster. An improved UI to make the process of creating a scene and including animation and interactivity more intuitive. A new sharing system that enables project owners to quickly invite users to view, edit and collaborate on projects in a secure environment. Here is the link to the original news.
  4. More than 5,000 SketchUp users are already communicating their design intent with CL3VER interactive 3D presentations. The plugin is available for FREE from the SketchUp Extension Warehouse
  5. Did someone tried out the new Rhino 5 to CL3VER plugin? The plugin allows to export the Rhino 3D model to the CL3VER platform where it can be transformed into an interactive 3D presentation. The plugin is announced in the Rhino blog http://blog.rhino3d.com/2014/10/new-rhino-to-cl3ver-plug-in.html and available on food4rhino http://www.food4rhino.com/project/interactive-3d-presentations?etx
  6. Today we have released a new CL3VER update that fix a previous bug. CL3VER now imports the entire model hierarchy with names of any imported 3D scene from any of the modeling software supported by the CL3VER platform. This improvement resolve a previous bug in the platform that used to fuse the meshes into a single mesh. You can read more information at our blog post: 3D Scene Hierarchy importing
  7. As for Real Time interactive 3D for ArchViz I suggest you to have a look at http://www.cl3ver.com/ which is built for architects (here a project demo http://3d.cl3ver.com/hDQC0?tryitlocation=3). It's pretty easy to use and to create interactivity.
  8. By looking at new products and services in the rendering industry I think that the trend is pretty clear and it's in the cloud. Vray has a cloud service available and also most of the modeling and visualization software are moving to the cloud. With this panorama I believe it's pretty clear where everything is going and where the industry will be in 5 years, or more. The advantages of the cloud are clear and lots of works is being done to improve cloud services in terms of speed, security and performances. I also think that we will see more real time rendering since WebGL and HTML5 are already a standard for all Internet Browsers. We will see more and more interactive WebGL real time 3D scenes substituting videos. The offering of 3D Visualization studios will increase, adding new products to the traditional 2D renderings or videos. Again in the cloud. My 2 cents
  9. Studio/Institution: CL3VER Genre: Other Software: CL3VER Website: http://www.cl3ver.com/ Description: Hi, we are improving the user experience of this interactive 3D presentation available in the browser to make it very easy to navigate. If you have any suggestion about instruction panels for navigation it would be wonderful. Presentation available at http://3d.cl3ver.com/Onb7i
  10. Import SketchUp projects into CL3VER and create an interactive 3D presentations with panels and buttons that allow an easy navigation. The final presentation is available on a simple webpage. Date 21st May, more info at http://www.cl3ver.com/webinars/
  11. Hi Erik, The concept here is a bit different. With CL3VER you coreograph your presentation, making it easier for the client/end user navigate in the project. At each step you can include any multimedia material such as images and videos to provide more information. This way you focus the attention of the client where it make more sense and he can always view what's around at each step. Free navigation at the moment is not available but it wil be in the future.
  12. Thanks Guys, just to keep you update about the latest features released: Offline publishing that allow to download the CL3VER presentation and open it anytime with an Internet browser. You can read more about it on our blog post.
  13. The CL3VER plugin for SketchUp is now available in the SketchUp Extension Warehouse. With this plugin SketchUp projects can be converted to easy interactive 3D scenes for web and mobile. 1. Open the SketchUp project 2. Import the SketchUp into CL3VER and create the scene 3. Publish the scene making it avaialbe on web and mobile: http://3d.cl3ver.com/R6aVw?autoplay=0
  14. I Agree with Dean and Scott. At this point Facebook must also think about strategies and penetration in new promising markets for investors and for their own future. And for Oculus founders...who is going to say no to this investment?
  15. Just to let you know guys that today we have launched "Actions" to create animation and configurators. Architects now have the possibility to present a project including variations and options in the same shareable interactive 3D scene. Here is the news and the tutorial link.
