  1. Hey, They are efficient imo as well.I really like this video What i am thinking here also is licensing. With dual xeons you would save 1 vray licence, since you don't need second pc for similar performance. Anyway, will be looking for opportunity
  2. Hey, I am sorry for possible thread hijack, but i have noticed you are using dual xeons x5650 in render node. Now and then i see some servers popping up with dual xeons and something like 60 or more GB of RAM. Do you think guys that it would be a good solution to get server like that for the render node (vray cpu)? One example could be: Dell PoweeEdge R710 Dual Proc Intel® Xeon® CPU X5660 @ 2,8Ghz 4x 1TB disks + 2x 200GB disks Proc Intel® Xeon® CPU X5660 @ 2,8Ghz RAM 44GB iDrac 6 DVD 2x PSU Thanks in advance
  3. Hey guys, I am interested in the same topic. Any progress on these builds? I came up with something like this: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/C3Mfqs It is based on fx8350. What do you think about that? Thanks
  4. Hey, thanks very much for the reply. I didn't know that. Thanks
  5. Hey, thanks for the reply. And yes, that's one way of doing it. But do you thing it is possible to achieve it with extrude tool, that remembers last setting?
  6. Hello all, After couple months away from 3dsmax and spending that time with blender i forgot a lot. Now, i am trying re learn max. I use 2015 version and have problem with extruding edges/borders. I would like to achieve the result from the last image but via extrude. However, extrude gives me the result that is on the picture 4. I have tried snaps and constraints but I wasn't able to solve the problem. Would someone help me out with this please? I spend last 2 days trying to do it but can find the answer. Who knows, maybe this is correct behavior? Thanks in advance
