  1. Studio/Institution: KTH Architecture Genre: Commercial Exterior Software: Vray Photoshop Description: The grass is looking kind of like a grass rug and I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on how to make it look better. I'm updating my portfolio and the ground was previously completely white and as such I had to cover all the white areas with grass. Does someone have a technique suggestion? I won't have time to re-render it as I have several more renders, drawings and diagrams that needs to be made better. Anything helpful is welcome including feedback not regarding the grass!
  2. Studio/Institution: KTH Architecture Genre: Commercial Exterior Software: Vray Revit 3ds Max Photoshop Description: The grass is looking like way too much of a grass rug, if you understand what I mean. How do I get away from that? Does anyone have examples of how to sexy up an area like this. It definitely wouldn't be that grassy in real life, I'd like to add a lot of dirt areas and small rocks and such but I don't really have a good grasp on how to proceed.
  3. Hi! I'm having some trouble with my materials when rendering. I'm trying to do a ambient occlusion pass on a dxf-import from revit. The problem is that I can only get the model to switch materials if I apply material to a whole layer. If I switch an object's layer to get the right objects on the right layers for the materials, it doesn't work. Anyone know a solution? Should I just try a different import?
