  1. actually this topic drew my attension to a diffirent aspect , what would the cities look like in the 22nd century .I mean will the same building materials,ways remain the same as today or maybe some new technologies might be intriduced ? what do you think guys

  4. yes, it happens.Be sure of your model scale(generic/metric....whatever),just a thought came accross.
  5. hi, i feel there is a problem with your light , try filtering all lights in your scene and delete them. then try from the begining to add one direct light instead and observe its reaction.
  6. 3D button to above the workspace, you can then use "tile" from "window menu to navigate between your views

  9. actually, yes. they are focusing on the commercial orientation of that city,dubai i mean was planned in the early 90's to that particular pupose.upploaded some samples of the islamic architectural
  10. youre right , file reaches up to 50mb and becomes too slow for editing ,even if you are editing 2D & not intending to get a 3D out of it
  11. construction grid is under the basics pull down menu or you can find it under " drafing ", revit has a cool UI , you will soon get used to it you will have to draw all the const. grids individually or by using the offset option from the tools bar and clicking on the arrow icon.
  12. agree with alfienoakes, even if everyone having a hardware problem goes googling it, this forum will be totaly usless. But dont be shy asking and getting "hard" answers as you're supposed to learn here.
  13. actually , there is no comparison man! the Q6600 processor is too far from the AMD x2 ( think the AMD is Much faster !!, well lets say slowly but surly )
