  1. Saw what was missing, there was another tile texture I had behind the door number, I corrected to the right scale and additionally found a photo on my found that was taken at a similar height to the camera, and used that as HDR. Haven't used it yet as a map in MAX, just purely Photoshopped it in.
  2. Doesn't seem its the house, the house clocks in a bit over 20 feet. Made a small brick primitive and used that as a guide for the tiles, I think I may need to adjust the texture in photoshop since, there is a a huge block of darkness on the tiles. Additionally the treehouse, is about 7 feet higher then the top of the house.
  3. Thanks for the reply Made the tiling smaller, in regards to the garage it is the right size(2.5metres tall) I'll see if I can adjust the HDR to be more realistic in size.
  4. Thanks for the reply man Any way I could make the treehouse fit in? Perhaps put it behind the house? Put in the edits, additionally put the tree on the other side The tiles on the driveway look much better thanks. Can't believe I missed that!
  5. Studio/Institution: Personal Genre: Residential Exterior Software: 3dsmax vray Description: So made this house near the woods. I am sure its missing something but cannot tell what, maybe more detail/objects in the rooms? Thanks guys.
  6. Studio/Institution: Personal Genre: Residential Interior Software: 3DSMAX VRAY Description: Hi there, made a library room , was wondering if there is anything else left I could do, that would complete the image?
  7. Hi there, are you using just people to populate the scene? If so use the populate tool(comes with MAX), works fine with vray. Creates full animated characters, that can walk around your scene. These can be edited to be very low quality or high quality. I hope this is what you are looking for.
  8. Reduced the reflectivity and bump, seems to bring out the orange color more. Is this any better?
  9. Hi there, the sofa is the correct scale. I've adjusted the floor and put some objects within the cupboard. Adjusted the glass as well
  10. Just need to adjust the wood texture and need to put a few things in the cabinet. Will adjust the circle on the roof to make it smoother. EDIT: tried rendering in a 16:9 resolution need to adjust the damage on the glass to make it more subtle
  11. Using a VrayPhysicalCamera, with film gate at 40mm and 31mm focal length, with 4 as the f number, 200 shutter speed. Using a bump map only for the sofa, as welll as a falloff map for the diffuse, and a variation of the bump map for the reflection.
  12. I tried increasing the settings within indirect illumination, didn't work. So I had a look at the vray hdri light I created, increased the subdivs to 24 and that seemed to do the trick for the most part.
  13. Okay adjusted the texture on the sofa, it (imo) looks a lot better.
  14. Here's a larger, higher quality version of the sofa. I think you are right about doing more work on the material.
  15. Hi there, thanks for replying guys, I think I left a light for the painting on the carpet. It seems I forgot to hide, before I rendered! Additionally in regards to light setup, I have a combination of vray hdri, and sun. I had vray sky, within the skylight override, within Vray:environment. I had the HDRI in the reflection/refraction override. Changed the vray sky to the hdri. Additionally changed the wall color to a very very light blue.
