  2. I researched and I am finally going with Dual Xeon Silver 4114 and 32 GB ECC Ram. I am not going to work on it as a workstation. This will be my render node only. I am expanding studio so it will be in rack mounting and Will fill other racks too in near future. Thankyuo so much. Guide me if I am doing anything wrong.
  3. Hello guys, It’s been a while since I posted here. It is time to upgrade, We are in need to render multi-minutes walkthrough(s) in-house. Workload is very heavy. Corona, GrowFX, Sometimes VRay and Sketchup. I just consulted a friend of mine, who is providing high-end machines to other studios as well. I am currently using i7-5820K with 32gbs of ram and there are two of it. He said that I should go for dual e5-2630 xeons or dual silver 4114 for price per performance. We are not talking about that as node. It will be separate system with monitor and all. Suggest if making them node can give me better performance per dollar. My Budget is around 4,50,000 INR which is around 6,500$. I can not stretch more than that. I stumbled on internet and even AMD Threadripper 1950x is performing good in cinebench. Even some i9s. I don’t know should I go for dual xeons? Or research more. Only concern is faster rendering in corona, Other things are not very important.

  5. Hey there, I have a huge scene in 3Dsmax, and I had little issues so I changed my libraries locations. Now some of textures are missing. I can see it in Asset Trackering. I want to change them to something new or say replace that texture. But since my scene is very huge it is difficult to find every material with missing texture. I can see them In Asset Tracker. So is there any way to see where that asset or texture used in our scene? Thankyou.
  6. We usually use Trees from Archmodels Volume.58 (Green Trees). They have hight density in leaves and We feel suitable for Aerial and Background things.
  7. No, Sketchup dont need any Rendering.. There is Export 2D Graphic option, Which can give you high res image within seconds, According my knowledge, We usually model in Sketchup and its quite easy. I have used Illustrator but I feel that its not fast enough when you got multiple linings and complex shapes, It has advantges of Vector art but I dont think its necessary in our field. Thats why I prefer Sketchup. You can adjust line weights and color here too. In Addition its complete 3D Enviroment so once you adjust your style then You can have multiple shots with different angles. Which I love. Even Changes are Easily Done.   8. These all had been done in Sketchup, As far as I know. You can build your models easily in it... Fee tutorials would be enough if never tried. There is also various options in Style Tab in sketchup, Which gives you all kind of visual style to look towards your model, From Sketching to Line Drawings! You can watch tutorials or you can play with settings.. You can even output your desired resolution from that! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Try speedtree, It will work with baked animation in their stand-alone software and You can import FBX. You can also use them in Unreal Engine aswell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Hello, I am currently working on a huge project and there is one aerial shot of the whole township, I have created jungle type greenery around it. Every House is Corona Proxy with Multi-Map Corona material on it. There are specific structures and Trees are included. Nothing is Mesh! All are proxies!. My Scene Details: I am Rendering at 6K Resolution. [ignore Passes in Scene Details, I started Region to troubleshoot problem that why It's Messed up! While Rendering: My CPU Uses 1%, Really. Is is all because of Many proxies in the scene?. In other hand My Ram is using almost above 88%. What should I do? Should I convert whole scene to Mesh? My Computer Specs: CPU: i7-5820K @ 3.30GHz RAM: 32 GB @ 1066MHz GPU: NVidia GTX 980

  13. Hello, I have a client, who is demanding specific tree in their renders, Unfortunately, I don't have anything near that. This tree is having some nice quantity of flowers on the head. I searched Archmodels, Cgaxis, Xfrog almost everywhere and Even my client send a something he wants in someone's walkthrough. This thing is a pain in my head. Please suggest where this is from or where can I find a similar thing. I also tried with Onyx and Speedtree but Speedtree is very time-consuming and Onyx can't have flowers, If they made it in Growfx or something, Atlease something near can be found! Pic:
