  1. Hi, Thanks for responding so quickly. I was actually saving out as png. My coworker showed me the workaround. I just needed to adjust my gamma level in photoshop after importing it. Thanks again for your time! Sorry for not being more specific.
  2. Hello, I always seem to find the questions that are tough to find with a quick search and tutorial. I am trying to export my color channel from vray frame buffer without srgb checked but when i export it and open the file in photoshop it's very washed out as if i checked srgb in the frame buffer. Is there something I should change in photoshop to fix this or am i exporting the image the wrong way? I am saving all of my channels through the frame buffer. Thank you for your time.
  3. Hello again everyone. My coworker found a solution to the problem. If you have the image plugged into your environment background, you have to have your dome light set to invisible if you want to light your scene with it or an HDRI. If not it causes everything to seem transparent. Thanks for the help everyone!
  4. Still haven't found a solution to this. I finished the project anyways but if anyone finds out what this weird problem is please let me know. Thanks everyone!
  5. Hi! I dont have any reflection on the vray material. Im only changing the diffuse color from grey to black and when its grey or white its transparent. Probably worth noting too that I just made a standard vray material and then i am changing the diffuse color and leaving the reflection values as is. Thank you!
  6. Hello all! This is my first forum post so bear with me. I am using the perspective match function in 3ds max 2014 and everything works perfectly until i set the bitmap for the backgrounds mapping type to screen. Then whenever I render if my geometry is lighter in color it's transparent but when it has a darker color it isn't. The actual background isn't rendering transparent and I cant seem to find anyone else online with the same problem as me. I can just use an HDRI map to light the scene and then comp it into the final photo but its much easier to just render with perspective match and have everything ready out of 3ds Max for post work. I will attach the two test renders showing the cube with a dark and light diffuse. Thanks everyone!
