Sorry i might not explain it right Any object for example a vrayproxy, even if visible or not visible to camera is being uploaded from server into the scene. transforming vertices and loading instances and loading bitmaps is happening in every frame. there is no reason for this, this information should be caches somewhere already. the plaster texture of the wall has no reason to be uploaded 240 times when it is exactly the same texture for every frame. I understand about the reflections and all, even GI only is making a difference but still. I just think i have something disabled because this looks like huge drag when having a bigger scene. And also i dont recall to be happening to me in other files like this.
  2. Hello, Thanks for tips. We have actually small farm inhouse. it is i think 120 physical cores, so this is not a problem. The problem is also that is loading the textures and instances that are not animated and is why i dont get why it is like this.
  3. Hi All, I was curious if there is a way how to set up the animation in Vray so it is loading all the instances and assets only ones. Since i have quite detailed and a little heavy scene in take about 10 sec to load the instances and such. In 300 frames it makes quite a amount of time. Thank you for suggestions, Stefan
  4. The problem is that officially there is still no support from autodesk on windows 10. So even autodesk is saying that is might not be 100 % compatible with win 10. I am just trying to understand what might be the problem before downgrading to lower win.
  5. I rendered like 3-4 scenes and it crashed on 2 bigger ones. But those scene are going smoothly on other PCs with win 7.
  6. Hello there, Recently purchased windows is not handling 3ds max. It keep crashing while rendering. I increased virtual memory to 3 times more than actual (32 GB ) and it keep crashing. Windows ,3ds max and Vray are properly purchased. Thank you for any input. Stefan
  7. No, this is what i meant that i have separate IDs. The thing is that i am not using the displace in the material, but with VrayDisplMod and this is applying to whole object no matter the ID. I was thing to solve it with different texture channel, but cannot figure out how.
  8. Hello folks, I have a situation where i have a single object, and i want to use VrayDisplMod just on some elements. I have them separated with IDs, but the channels doesn't work ( or i am doing it wrong ). Is there a way of achieving that the modifier will be used lets say only on elements with ID 1 ?   9. Yes, that about right. I had to move with this one as it was But convinsing me to go to meters is a good thing ! so thank you all for that
  10. Yes, but this is not that issue. I see the general model, the problem is that facs are half broken or missing. Like is see just half ghosted. It was pretty much the issue with units, which helped when moved to scene with meters as unit. But as i said, the problem is now that i lost all the modifiers.
  11. Yes i did, it didn't help. What helped was Simon's suggestion, but i lost all the modifiers which is not good but i don't have many options left. Any type of re-scaling or re-importing with different system units is not applying to modifiers.
  12. If is change the system units now to meters all the modifier got scaled. So every modifier for geometry is now 1000x bigger than it should be. Even if i merge it into the new scene. Any suggestions please ?
  13. The mm is mostly because of the modifiers and 3rd partly plug-ins that work in mm automatically. I tried to changing system units to meters but i haven't saved on new scene, so i am going to try that. The thing is that in other scenes with same scale projects there is no problem, but in this one there is. Process was importing from Sketch,but everything was remodeled, the imported sketch up model was used only as the reference for dimensions.

  15. It was 200 m which in mm was 200 000, because if was import from reference model But i know that could have been an issue so i moved it to the origin point, but problem remained
