1. Nice render mate! Lighting is great and lovin' the wood textures
2. Hi guys! It's been a while I have posted anything here... So here's couple of new pics! Comments and crits are always welcome ok..image quality is not so good, so here's a little bigger versions http://koti.mbnet.fi/tmuraja/kuvernoori_edit1.jpg http://koti.mbnet.fi/tmuraja/takapiha_1200.jpg
3. Hi! If I remember correctly, rpc.dll error comes if you have rpc objects in your scene, but you don't have those plugins installed... So if you dont need those rpc objects just delete them and save your scene. And if you need those, you should check http://www.archvision.com/
4. Thanks for your comments and opinions guys! And yes I thought about it if I should put lights over the mirror. But yet I haven't found what kind of lights I should model. Maybe I keep searching the right ones. And I think I should tweak couple of materials... like that sink. But thanks again
5. Hi guys! Haven't post any renders for a long long time... So here's a little bathroom render. I'm not sure if it's ready for final render. Always nice to hear your crits & comments, so please Thanks!
6. Night/rain shot looks nice. But is it me or why it bothers me that the rain looks like coming from right and that dude holds umbrella towards left. He's gonna get wet
7. Thanks guys from replies. Must try those things rightaway when I get to work. Somekind of script what boots the spawners before rendering would also be great.
8. I don't think it's the LC what causes problems, because LC pass is always OK. Irrmap is where the problems appear. But maybe it's the settings, I try to uncheck those "Don't delete" on render end. For that other problem... Here's a pic from LC pass and you can see that sky and that tree is (don't worry about the scale of image, it's a test ) showing through the building. And it shows in the final rendered image too.
9. I got weird problems when rendering. First render is fine, everything looks great. BUT then if I change something like view, background etc. the second render looks kinda wrong. There's pieces of that first rendering. I use Irrmap for primary bounce and lightcache for second. And I think it's the irrmap what causes problems because when I changed it to bruteforce render was fine. Also booting nodes helps but who wants to boot them after every render? Second problem isn't because distributed rendering but it's weird too. When I have image or vraysky on the enviroment slot, you can see them through shadows. So please, if anyone knows how to solve these problems just let me know, thanks...
10. I remember when I had 486 with 8mb ram. I also had 3d studio 4 and autocad installed, both DOS-versions ofcourse It took some time to render images...
11. Hi! What is the correct way to export project from solidworks to max? My client has solidworks and I have 3dsmax. He gave me like hundreds of stl-files and max couldn't import all them at the same time. Is there any way to import multiple files? Other solution was one igs-file, but when i tried to import it, it took a lot of time and finally max crashed. So what should i do?
12. Fantastic images! Lighting, materials and composition.. all great
13. Thanks for the feedback Austris! Yeah the wood material isn't the best.. I'll keep working with 'em
