  1. don't use the domelight to light up your scene - use the RenderSetup/Vray/Environment/ lightning slot instead. or maybe it helps if you set the domelight to invisible....
  2. in the latest vray version GI is on by default - so you need some light in your scene to see anything....
  3. i once had the same issue... i disabled the bump texture in the grass material and the the problem was gone... maybe this helps?
  4. if you use vrayArialPerspektive then i think you should lower the visibillity range parameter...
  5. another reason could be that you just see an old render in the frame buffer - clear the frame buffer and the render again... (with the "X" button you clear it...)
  6. i think you are just viewing the sample rate render element and not the RGB pass....
  7. i have the same problem with 3dsmaxx and loading times... what happens if you replace all the materials with just one standard material without any maps - are then the loading times better?
  8. are many textures used in your scene and are these textures lying on a network volume?
  9. maybe its Probabilistic lights? have you tried to turn them off? (global settings)
  10. 1. yes you can bake really high textures - like 4k or 8k but for repeating textures like wood fabric etc. its better to overlay them in your realtime engine and not to bake them - just bake the light solution. 2. the quality is not depending of the software you use for baking.
  11. are you working with network paths? - i had this problem when working with files stored in different network folders...
  12. it is because of the camera exposure- you had to turn the exposure of and also untick the vignetting in the camera settings. this should solve the problem
