Can anybody explain this. When rendering in 3D max 2014 with vray, I use 2 render nodes for distributed rendering but one of them gives me strange bucket results when calculating the irradiance map. I've attached an example. Hope someone can help. The final image is fine though.

Yes, all the materials are on the server. I'm only finding one of the render nodes is doing it, the other one is fine. There both setup the same so I'm very confused. Thanks anyway guys,

Hi can anyone help, I'm using DR in vray on 3ds Max 2014, I have two render nodes attached to my computer so I have around 20 buckets rendering at once. The issue I'm having is that one of the nodes is giving me strange results and the buckets it's rendered are different to everything else in the scene. I think the render node must be missing either a path or a plugin, but I can't seem to find anything missing. I am also working in linear workflow. Has anyone else had this issue and would you know how to correct it. (I've attached a jpeg to show you the problem) Thank you Matt

Thanks guys, I don't have all the info at the moment. It's one 30s animation of a 20 storey residential building, running round the outside of it on the road. It's needing to show activity, cars, people, trees and activity on the balconies. It also has shops on the ground floor and landscaping. It's all day time as well. How much would it cost roughly?

Just tried to decrypt it and you have to pay for it. Any chance of getting the script without paying for it from somewhere?

Thanks, but for some reason I can't get he script to run on 3D max 2015, would you know why? It just says --Type error:set.bitmap requires BitMap, got: undefined???? It says it's and 'Encrypted' maxscript file???

Would anybody know where I can get either 2D or 3D shop and cafe fronts? I am producing a few images of an outdoor retail/hospitality area which has lots of activity going on. I'm looking for modern as possible. Thank you Matt

I'm just wanting to know if there's a going average price for how much a business should charge for a 30 sec day animation? Do you charge per sec or something else?

Can anyone suggest where I can buy some high detailed 3D plants that can be used in the foreground of an image. I've looked at xfrog but is there anything better out there?
