I am starting to think that there is no glow effect when you view the vray VR render in Virtual Reality....or perhaps nobody has tried it yet.
You can always apply a vray light material, but it won't give glow or glare effect in Virtual Reality.
I have posted the question in a couple of forums but no answers yet. I still hope someone have a hint.
Thanks for your post Francisco :-).
I just switched from 3D Studio Max 15 to 16 and using vray 3.40.01. I did not have such problem with Max 15. It is just a plain vray light squared shaped that I placed under a lamp. As you can see it is black when turned off despite the invisible box is checked. Of course it turns white when turning it on.
I have no idea how to make it "invisible" no matter how many tricks I try. As there are several light choices with Max 2016 & vray, I can find a way out although it is NOT the point not being able to use those popular squared vray lights as in previous versions.
Thanks in advance again.
Hey,
If I place a rectangular vray light in my scene I can't make it invisible even tho the "invisible" box is checked, it comes as a rectangular black shape.
Any help please?.. using Max 2016 vray 3.40.01
