It sure won't! In fact, focusing in on Corona Renderer for Cinema 4D was part of the reason for calling a halt to the SketchUp development. You can read all about that in the Company News section on the blog post. A tough decision, but the right one we believe.
It's been available for some time, the Alpha came out last year, with earlier versions before that. Beta 1 is much closer to a final version of course, which is why the announcement of its release - some very major changes since the Alpha, as listed, with the Interactive Rendering being the most major I'd say, as it's a hallmark of Corona.
