Hey There! I want to thank everyone who has been keeping tabs on our product D3CRYPT3D. We have had many major developments occur in the past few months, one being nominated as finalists for the SXSW Innovation Awards. We were just at NASA Goddard Space Center this past week, which was an amazing experience! We will be releasing a major update that addresses many of your concerns with the software. We are SO EXCITED! We truly want to place power back into the creators hands and change the culture around digital content. It is not a simple copy and past function; it requires hours, days, and years to develop this craft. We made it where anyone who has your model will actually have a calling card to get in touch with the author/owner of the 3d object. Only the author/owner has the encryption key. Super excited about this new feature. Currently working on the IOS version. There will be many new additions in 2017 but thanks everyone for the input on our product. Chris, Some one asked me not to long ago what the difference is between our software and say a WinRaR or 7-Zip. Here are the differences: 1. There is no compression algorithm applied 2. The file type remains the same and can be opened in its native application even in an encrypted state. 3. Asset tracking metrics are embedded in the encryption which allow for tracking throughout the lifecycle 4. The assets owner is identified by the calling card which gives the artist a form of promotion I hope that helps to answer your question?
