  1. Can't seem to get the mapping to stay on a file link reload. I have the "use scene material assignement on reload" checked, but i still loose the mapping on reload. any ideas? help appreciated
  2. The wire material will give you just the edges, I was hoping there was a way to have a standard material visible, but have good defined edges.
  3. Yes, that works on the viewport, but how do you get that to render?
  4. How do I turn on the edges of the geometry in Viz? I want to be able to print out a progress model, but able to see the edges with a standard material. anybody have any idea thanks,
  5. Ok now I am desparate, anybody have any suggestions?
  6. Looks like autocad, with a wire material in viz?
  7. anybody have any suggestions? anything at all?
  8. As is, its not a raytrace material. It's just a standard material with a reflection map and blur. If I rended in scanline its fine, but when used with radiosity,it looses its shine/metallic look to it.
  9. Does anybody have any suggestions?
  10. I always had this problem with radiosity and chrome metal: Chrome doesnt look like chrome anymore when i use radiosity. What is the way around this? If i exclude it from radiosity, i get just a black rendering of the metal.
  11. this was a good way of doing it. I rotated all the ojbects in the view and got pretty much the same zoom scale. thanks a lot.
  12. oh i guess i also meant to ask, where do you enter the viewport scale? is there such a thing as in autocad?
  13. Yes, i want to print them to scale as well. I will try both methods and let you know how it goes. thanks
  14. I want to render elevations in viz, but i cant figure out a way to make all the views (front, back, side, etc) to be the same scale. anybody have an idea?
