  1. Hi, I am having an issue with objects that are behind two panes of Glass in Vray. As you can see in the Image objects that are behind two glass objects get refracted in a strange way for example the photos on the wall behind the window frame glass and the Juliet balcony glass. However objects behind one pane of glass are correct for example the window frames. Anyone got any ideas on what could be causing this? Thanks
  2. Hi Guys! I have just started a new job doing in-house visualisation for an architects the way I got into the role was due to my photoshop knowledge but quickly turned into 3D rendering at the moment its just with sketchup and vray but I'm sure I will upgrade to 3ds max in the near future. So I'm trying to learn as much as I can as quickly as possible about all of this but the one thing that is holding me back is the PC that I'm using which renders going into days! So I'm looking to build a PC for £1500 ($1950) budget And need your guys help picking what components would be best for me. This a work PC so I need to run 3D modelling software/Run the Render engine, Photoshop and Lightroom CC unfortunately that means no gaming.... so I don't need to worry about running games at all. Obviously the main reason for needing the PC is for the fastest possible 3D Render times. The setup I have picked out is: -Intel 6th Gen Quad Core I7 6700K 4.0GHz -Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 PC4-21300 2666MHz Dual Channel Kit -NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Founders Edition -GIGABYTE GA-Z170XP-SLI Intel Z170 (Socket 1151) Motherboard The main question I have is could I get away with a less powerful graphics card as from my understanding 3D rendering is mostly CPU intensive? however will this effect the speed when doing 3d modelling as the files can get pretty big and kill my current PC especially when I try and add grass! I also have zero clue on what makes a decent motherboard and what I should be looking for in a motherboard to suite me? Thanks for your help guys!
