  1. Justin - For this film, the budget wasn't there to add people, but we also wanted to keep to a 'teaser' style film, almost a trailer showing the centre before it opened to the public, teasing the viewer as to what they could expect once it opened. Shaheenshy - Most of the shops were camera mapped in 3ds max using specific photography we had taken of similar shops elsewhere. We modelled in some shops if we got close to them though (such as the in the camera move before the Grand Piata reveal). Once we'd got all of our final grade/blings/flares and final post work added on top, the shops sat in quite well!
  2. Thanks for all your great comments! Djsebek - I think this film was averaging out at about 20 mins per frame! Ps Andy - Berg Eltze! Legend! I'd totally forgotten about that :-) I cringe when I look back af that, although for a first crack at 3rd max, it wasn't bad! It was good to be able to play with those types of shots in this film, like you said, clients aren't always up for it! The client for this project was brilliant the whole way through!
  3. Studio/Institution: Uniform Genre: Retail Interior Software: 3ds Max, Vray, Fusion, Photoshop Website: http://www.uniform.net Description: We've recently finished a short film on behalf of the Romanian real estate company Nova Imobiliare, the investment group behind The Colosseum project in Bucherest, Romania. The project comprises of a 54 hectre site and includes 200,000m2 of mixed-use development, containing retail, restaurants, leisure facilities and a hotel. The scheme will be Central and Eastern Europe’s largest commercial development with a total value of €350 million. Uniform’s role was to develop a film that gave potential occupiers and customers a clear vision for this spectacular destination. The film had to create a ‘real experience’, telling the story of how the variety of infrastructure and spaces linked together, resulting in a film that provides a fantastic insight into this ‘colossus’ project and how it will look when it’s finished.
  4. Just another question on this topic. When I edit my signature, it only will allow me to have a maximum of 2 lines of text. I've noticed other people have got 3, 4,5 or 6 in your case Brian. When you edit yours, does it mention a maximum amount of lines like mine does? Is this something which increases, the more posts you make?
  5. I've just hit 10 posts and the option to edit my signature has appeared. Looks like that's the magic number folks..!
  6. Hi!

Yes it's a live project. We've done a few images for this and other schemes for Center Parcs. As with all projects done for clients, there's always time constraints and so the little things you'd like to fix, you never have time for!

  7. wonderful work

  8. Muly,

about the your work, is it a live project.......? that's really great

  9. Surely this is in the wrong thread. WIP?
  10. Me neither. Do you have to have a minimum number of posts before you can add a signature?
  11. The sun position is good and gives off nicely positioned shadows, however the overall colouring looks quite saturated and the bump on the footpath is way too big for me!
