  1. thanks a lot fot the replies guys. im a noob to the world of lisp so i went through the forums that you mentioned, joel. the problem seems to be that autocad is automatically creating its own acad.lsp file in a folder where i open a particular drawing and seems to omit the root lsp files that it needs to load. pretty much what you said joel. im pretty sure the right files arent being loaded. the zoom is definitely involved in this matter as well, as i could do so seamlessly using an earlier version of autocad. anyway im just on the way to work so i ill try to fix the issue and get back here thanks again Kripal
  2. hey everyone i recently installed autocad 2008 on a computer at my office and when i open any drawing i get a message asking me to either load 'acad.lsp' for the first drawing or all drawings henceforth... no matter what i click i end up having a drawing where the hatch function doesnt work at all. the realtime zooming also slows down considerably. existing drawings with hatch also show up hatchless. i tried reinstalling cad and the same thing occurs. has anyone encountered this problem or is it a virus?? any help to tackle this will be appreciated. thanks, Kripal
  3. agreed about the curtain color and also isn't the chandelier a bit too low? good work otherwise
  4. really nice lookn work for the time. altho the car on the left looks a bit wierd. it seems to be tiltin at an odd angle or maybe the road is slopin down? the ppl look a bit off. maybe add shadows for em. i also feel the camera cud b moved a bit to the left to get a bettr composition maybe.. house looks great tho. cheers
  5. why arent dosch cars even mentioned here???? 19 high quality models at a total of 150 dollars.
  6. good job but the perspective seems to be a bit off on the modified structure and are those reflections on the windows? look more like pasted pics. maybe u can fix these issues cheers
  7. is tat a villa design? looks more like a commercial bldg to me tho. u can probbly show more background on the glass reflections. cheers
  8. oh yeah very much know abt vray displacement. i didnt turn it on cus tat was makin the render times even crazier. anyway i solved the issue by jus creating light objects n applyin vray light mats to them instead of using vray lights. turned down the time a lotl. thanks for all the tips guys cheers
  9. well done renders. but im not likin the colors. somethin abt it is dull. maybe the walls. try changin em to say a cream color o somethin. cheers
  10. thanks guys. yeah turnin the lights off seem to be helping. i really need help with the foliage. wats the best way to show large amts of plants n thins?
  11. @manta machine goin crazy meant it takes so long to calculate irr and render . not sure if its the lights, ive worked on scene with more lights n didnt face ne trouble. i really suspect its all the glass in there. is there ne way to counter that? @maria doin tat to the skylight doesn make ne difference. there is also tat stone map tat u see which has a bump on it as well as the floor texture which has reflection properties as well. how do u suggest adding lots of foliage in there as well?
  12. thanks for ritin in man those shops turn out real dark without the lights and if i increase the exposure the sunlight burns out. n i figured the lights are turned on in the shops after visitng a mall with a large skylight n so on. n yeah the affect shadows is on. oh n im supposed to fill the whole place with foliage. neone got ne ideas as to how to go abt it? i have some evermotion plants but they make my machine go crazy. even when theyr proxies.. need some pointers guys.. thanks
  13. hi guys, been a wile since i posted any work. was busy with school k heres the story. the following image is of a commercial centre that has only retails related to landscaping and garden works and so on. something like a greenhouse, im not sure. the central atrium will have plants and garden furnitures on display and so on. this is a rough draft. k first of all i find insane test render times goin to atleast 40 min ( i have a c2d 3 gig machine ). there are lots of vray lights in there and normal glass mats. the textures are basic ones with few bumps. im using vray sun sky n phy cam. settings are f.no8, s 120, iso 200 ive also posted the settings am i goin drastically wrong newhere? ne help appreciated..
  14. comfy lil room. but as mentioned u need lots of specular in thr. jus adding some to ur monitors can make a huge diff. n im sure u can find some better models for those speakers!! they look like paper boxes. keep workin cheers
  15. looks pretty nice actually. altho im no expert cupla things that can help:- 1. i think the angle of sun should be mirrored so u have the shadows towards the camera. 2. and also maybe have a wider frame to get more focus on the house and not the excess foliage. 3.color scheme looks a bit unbalanced bw the white and the pink on both sides. maybe work tat out?
