  1. I know we often debate about the use of 2D vs 3D entourage in renderings. But, while some still use 2D a lot (at least in the foreground), I'm excited to announce that our cutouts are now available in the in the CGarchitect store. For those of you who have purchased our debut collections, there are now new collections available. For those of you who have not yet seen our products, check out our culturally diverse, high-quality entourage. We have several freebies available for download if you want to check out the quality of our products. Now in the CGarchitect Visualization Shoppe Download our freebies and try us out
  2. Now through the end of the year, save 10% on all purchases at VIZUTIL using the coupon code vizholiday. VIZUTIL 2D cutouts are modern, diverse, and versatile. They were shot a high-resolution in both direct and flat light to give you the highest quality. Visit our site for more details and to make your purchase: https://www.vizutil.com/shop/special-offers/
  3. I agree with much of what has already been said. The two big issues are that the lighting of the cutouts don't match the space and the busyness of the images. The lighting issues are common, but can easily be remedied by first finding companies which offer multiple lighting options, such as direct and flat lighting. You will still need to do some touch-ups, but it makes a drastic difference. For the amount of people you place, in addition to what has been said, remember the focus should never be the people. For each of your images, there is a person who captures my attention first and the space is secondary. Part of that is because they're brighter, but also because they're centered. Take your second image for an example, I'm immediately drawn to the white shirt. If he is removed, my focus may be on the space more. Larissa provided great insights on shadows, which is also crucial. Lastly, I think one issue that hasn't yet been addressed is the camera angle of the space. Using your second image again for an example, there is far too much foreground that the image seems to ask for a lot of people. Is the rendering itself supposed to focus on the stores or the open space? If it's the former, you should bring the storefronts closer. If it's the latter, you could adjust the image to give the impression you're walking out into the open space from a store. This can provide an interesting perspective, but also limit the number of people you need to include.
  4. Definitely check out www.vizutil.com. There are excellent options. Look at the PDF catalogs of each collection to really see the numerous options we have. We are also currently producing another set of collections.
  5. Okay! Will do. Have you looked at our current packages? We have some people of color from our first shoot and will look to increase the diversity in our next shoot.
  6. That's an excellent request. Thank you. We are certainly seeing more requests for real conversations between people, not people sitting alone at a table on a phone.
  7. Thank you for your response. I can add college-aged students to the list and that includes dressing them accordingly, of course. We definitely like group shots of two or three people together too so we will be doing more of that in our next shoot. We will try to get more pictures of our actors in different angles, too. Thank you!
  8. Hello, I am glad to make more aware of our company! Thank you for the feedback. The elderly age range is certainly one we are aware is needed. We do use two forms of lighting (direct and flat) to account for indoor and outdoor use, but I will also talk to our team who is in charge of photographing in the next shoot. Similarly, I appreciate your comment on the grading. We will certainly keep that in mind when we are setting the next package up. Thanks!
  9. It was not taken offensively. No worries! We are considering 3D models in the future but are first working to build our client base.
  10. Thank you for your great feedback. This matches some of what we were seeing from our own clients, so it is good to know it is consistent. I appreciate the list of clothing options you provided, we will use that to help direct the models. I will also try to make sure the photographs are directly eye-level. Thanks! Gotcha! I'll add mustard-cutting capabilities to our list of must-haves!
  11. Hello, VIZUTIL is a website with high-quality 2D cutouts. We are looking to do another photo shoot and would like to supply what is in greatest demand. Please answer a few questions so that I may best craft our next photo shoot to meet your needs. 1. What category of work does your firm complete most often? (i.e. Residential, Commercial, etc.) 2. What is the most common request for 2D cutouts from clients? (Specifics about age, gender, ethnicity, etc. would be beneficial.) 3. What do you struggle to find for availability of the requests from question two? 4. What else would you ask to be considered for our next photo shoot? Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
  12. We intend to be adding more packages soon and the feedback from this thread is helping to decide our direction. I like the option of mixing and matching collections. It will be easier to get more variety that way. Considering we will be hiring different people every shoot, this is certainly manageable. Thanks for the feedback.
  13. That's a very specific niche, but I see what you mean. We will certainly look at creating actors for this. Thank you.
  14. Thank you for explaining that further. I am beginning to understand what you mean. I would imagine you often work with images that have a lot of people. With the limited number of different actors used in the packages, you are limited with your options. Despite the several pose options and the options to use groups of actors/actresses, you can only use each actor/actress one time in the scene. So, in tandem with the positives you laid out, having more actors in general would help to increase the diversity you are seeking.
  15. Thank you for your response, ValeroStudio. I understand that groups of people are important. It is hard to group individual people together, which is why we tried to include some of that. More is certainly necessary. Similarly, VelvetElvis, I understand your point. This was the first shooting and more are to come and the hope is to increase the diversity each time. As it stands now, though, can you be more specific as to what it is lacking in diversity? Do you tend to get requests for more Asian people, more African American? Or is it something different altogether, like more children?
