  1. Hi Luis This tutorial really helped me bring the quality of my work up a lot. It goes through everything from modeling to materials to render settings and post photoshop production http://viscorbel.com/shop/kitchen-deluxe/ good luck =)
  2. Hi guys I've noticed theirs no lock zoom/pan button in the viewport background options for 2014 and 2015. Ive been looking at a few different forums and they don't seem to be too happy with the new 2D pan and zoom option in the perspective viewport, at least when it comes to modeling by reference. They suggest using a virtual studio but when you change to wireframe, the reference plane turns to wireframe as well. Is it possible to keep the reference geometry shaded while using wireframe? Or is their maybe a better solution?
  3. Do you have a favorite tool, plug-in or mabey some sort of "trick" you use that takes your imagery to the next level. Be it in 3ds max or photoshop or whatever program. I know its a really vague question but I cant help feeling that thiers so much out their that i don't know about. It seems like every time I look at the fantastic work in the gallery I'm left feeling like a real amateur who hasn't even scraped the surface of 3D Visualization. I'll get the ball rolling by saying that I love the dodge tool in photoshop, it's a hell of a way to get your cars all nice and shiny
  4. Hi Nazareth I suggest ramping up ur settings to see what happens. You should start another thread though so more people see your problem and then can help you. =)
  5. Thanks Chris, Is their anything photoshop cant do =) Thanks all, you've given me a lot to think about attached is the final product if anyones interested
  6. Hey guys, thanks for all your feed back Yeah the display sRGB button was turned off, and when I turn it on it shows me the over exposed scene that saves out.
  7. Hey Arnold Thanx for the feed back, but my color mapping is set to 2.2 I actually used a previous file I had been using with 3dmax 2013 and adopted the files settings because i cant find where the bitmap files input / output gamma is anymore. It was in the gamma/LUT mabey this is where my problem lies attached is my settings by the way
  8. Hi guys I just started using 3d max 2015 with vray and for some reason my vray frame buffer images look normal on the buffer itself but when i save them out they are really exposed. It can be fixed for now using curves in photoshop, but I was wondering if anyone might know whats going on? attached is a sample of the problem
  9. Hey Guys Im a Revit drafter and Ive recently Been givin 3ds Max 2011 to use. Ive noticed I cant get my 3d Max Renders to be as sharp as my revit renders. They come out a little pixely even after a 3 hour render... Each is getting better as I get more and more used to the program but they still seem to be lacking in quality. any suggestions? cheers
