  1. You hit it right on the nail Arnold.. Resource allocation... tough one beat..
  2. Where did you get the image Ron? Everyone frame is funny...
  3. Well I wouldn't call it a breakthrough ... but real-time will probably become a big player. But I also think(and this has already been voiced) is non real-time more expresive style of CG. Which would probably be more interesting than real-time because of its artist(ic) factor, which of course is supreme.
  4. The renderings look great ... I like the night render, (Wonder if you will attempt to place lighting inside those buildings).. AyYahYa.. You could try some form of distance fog to blur out distant objects outside the scope of what you really want to be evident. Since fog exists and clients know what fog is, they won't question it. vs some graphic technique that may confuse some people. And fog is easy to implement.. and cost effective. (This could give you time to do other things like the lighting inside the buildings.. hehe). G
  5. Hi ebad.. I think in this night render you will definetly need to tone down the bumbmaps, or displacement or noise features you are using in some of those reflective materials because they are now really starting to get quite strong in speckles... And this is probably because the material surface is reflecting the background image instead of the interior surface color because you probably don't have any other wall surfaces other than the ones we see in the render.. or if you do, they are very dark. But otherwise nice render... G
  6. Looks great to me... just keep going... I would give you some advice , if you supplied more pics this would help. But I like what I see.. alot...
  7. This is a great render... its right up their! My only issue is with the environment map content does not match the style of the window which seems to reflect something lower than 100 floors .. for a building of this height, either the window style needs to change or change the environment map to an exterior shot of a condo project. But of course this could be a condo on top of a montain or something... or you have placed those fake snap-on plastic widow thingies... I can't remeber what they are called in the window. Anyway great work.
  8. This is of course a personal request... Can, and how could real-time play a more significant role in architectural visualization? What would need to change?, What would artists need? etc.. Can real-time visualization work at all in this domain? Is the push to integrate real-time into architectural presentation futile? These are just a few ideas I think could be explored. G
  9. I like this thread.... I have the same problems ... Soar neck, lower back , headaches etc... I have an Ikea desk chair, well it has a cute name at least. G
  10. Here is a very small pic... G.

  13. Hi cerpnjak vbmenu_register("postmenu_132453", true); Be very patient , it will take some time before you land a contract. their is a lot of competition in this area, people who have mastered their skill. I'm almost tempted to say that your first contract will most likely be overflow . basically don't get dissapointed when you don't get work for a long time. Just trying to help
  14. Hiya notamondayfan, That World demo does not come in non exe format does it? Graig.
