  2. I just did some quick changes in PSD. I hope you don't mind me drawing over your image. I think the major changes that would help are a different camera angle and lighting. Its too blown out and I would keep you parallels straight. Overall the texturing is fine.
  3. I've tryed that materials too but get the same problem thanks anyway for the tip!
  4. Hi all I've been haing difficulties on getting a real brushed aluminium.. any ideias? Reflection Gloss. under 0,75 seems unreal, and more than 0,75 ir reflects all around..in reality, the brushed aluminum have a shiny aspect, but doesn't relflect as musch as I'm getting. Any ideas? Thanks a lot
  5. I've been working on a way to use only vraysun &sky for interior scenes, cause with that render times get really short... Perhaps I'm not doing the right things, but here are the conclusions I got... I found some problems on that...for instance if you have a room with a little window, you'll get all burned near the window (even with exponential colour mapping) and in the other side of the room there is no light. But if you have a smooth floor surface in white or soft grey diffuse, you can set the Generate GI value to 2 or 3 and there you have more light without increasing a lot render times. This won't work if you have a wood floor cause everything becomes brown.. Other problem is that if you see some objects in the exterior, to have a nice lightning inside, outside everything will be burning...so in that cases I reduce the Receive GI value to 0,5 or even 0,2 in the outside objects... Here is attached a scene playing only with vraysun, vraysky, Receive GI value, Generate GI Value and colour mapping. King Regards
  6. Beside the colours, that's a very good looking image I would just try to have a background imagem with more resolution...but it's only my opinion. I also wonder how did you avoid the burning surfaces at the ceiling near the windows...if you put some vray planes at the entrance of the light, I suppose it should burn the ceiling...but you got it just perfect! Good work! King Regards
  7. Thanks for comments Paul. I'm gonna look for those details that were missing at my eyes.. Anyway, here is attached a night scene of the livingroom with the actual lamps... just trying to fix the error on the floor lamp.. But there is really missing some lights in the middle of the room.. perhaps I'll put some lamps in the middle of the room just to see the effect... Thanks for all
  8. Hi all, Here are attached some renders of interior scenes I'm working on... Any C&C are welcome. King Regards
  9. It happens constantly to me, if I try to save the bitmap in a folder...but if I try to save it to desktop it works perfectly...don't know if this can help too...
  10. I'm going to buy it now and later I'll give some feedback. Just hope to see much more tutorials for 3dsmax/vray there soon! I guess it's also important for you to know what people are needing to improve. So here is my contribute, I think I need a more detailed tutorial about the texturing process...never get realistic textures in exterior scenes:( Anyway, every tuturials are welcome, and since they have nice prices, I'll get them all for sure! Just keep running
  11. Hi all, I'm testing to take some night shots of a living room as you can see in the attachment. I've some lights on the ceiling near the wall and I've put there some freepoints... my problem is that I can see the shadow in the wall, but there is no light in the lamps where are positioned the free points:mad: Is there a way to get some light filling in the source (lamps)? Thanks a lot! King Regards
  12. Hi, That looks great! In the second image I think the grass looks weird, but overall it looks very nice;) I've been trying to make the same metal you have in the windows frames...can you give me some tips? King Regards
  13. Hi, That is starting to look great...You are using vraysun and vray sky with physical camera? I just wonder why only one window is reflecting the environment? Curious to see the model with textures Have fun!
  14. Hey Poll, thanks a lot. I bealive that my texturing process is very poor and your answer was really interesting for me...actually, do you still remeber which tutorial have you tried? If you can refer it to me that would be very nice About the toilet, was just a trainning scene that I've made for fun King Regards
  15. Well, actually it really is a photograph...since the house I'm working on is quite similar to that one, I was using the photo as a reference.... I need to create a similar concrete, as well as the others materials... I wonder if anyone can give me some advise of how to improve my exterior scenes of this house...i spent lots of time with the house lightning, but I bealive that the problem is on materials... My scenes are in my blog, http://cgarchitecture.blogspot.com as Work in Progress. Any comments are welcome and precious Thanks a lot, King Regards
