  1. Hi Folks, Is it possible to set a different output render size for each scene in a batch render? For example: Scene 1 = landscape orientation, Scene 2 = Portrait orientation, Scene 3 = Widescreen aspect ratio, etc. I am guessing no, but there is hope! Thanks!
  2. Hi Chris, Thanks for the reply and the suggestions. I am already seeing better results in my tests.
  3. Hi Folks, This material has me scratching my head and I was hoping to get some of your thoughts purely for educational purposes. See attached images of a sample of the material. (Sorry If these are rotated, I am not sure why, first post) This is a stainless steel countertop material that has a very fine raised pattern, no more than 1mm wide. I tried creating this material in a true-to-life way, with an accurately scaled bump map. But my tests just come out like a gray material with a lot of noise. Obviously the scale of the details are just to fine for the pixels in my image to pick up. I had to move on from this project, but I feel like this can be a learning opportunity to hear out how you guys would have tackled this material. Thanks for reading and your thoughts are welcome!
  4. Hi Presty, The first thing I noticed is that your colors are looking weird. Spend some time in photoshop and tweak levels until things are looking better. I spent about 5 minutes in post and I am already seeing better results, see attached. I find that realism comes from attention to detail. Look at photographs and see what you can use to make your renderings more realistic. Things you can improve in your model: your lights under the wall cabinets, the texture of the veneer, your floor, and try to tone down the bright spots because you are losing a lot of detail. Good luck!
