  1. Thanks for your reply but I'm not sure if I got you. Why would I like to see those colors on the overexposed areas?
  2. I understand if clamp output is on, the HDR of the Frame Buffer is lost. So, Why would anyone active it? What is the main advantage turning it on? Thanks
  3. Well, the converter actually reads well reflections. It just doesn't check the "trace reflections", while "trace refractions" is always checked. Weird....
  4. I often use the "Vray scene converter" to convert all standards materials to vray ones. Ok, but it forgets to check "trace reflections" and fresnels. Since these 2 are so important, why they are left? Is there a reason?
  5. Thanks Jeff. Would be hard to accomplish it?
  6. I always like to use the Unread Posts link each time I login. This shows all posts in all CGA forums, even posts in software forums that I don't use at all. So, I would like to read unread posts just in specific forums that I choose. Is it possible? That would be great. Thanks.
  7. Well, Next limit should fix it's plugin bug in the future. (MXM materials cannot be put into a library, all MXM reference and name lost). Thanks anyway.
  8. I guess you are talking about file link manager. Yes it is true that I wont loose my already assigned materials when reloading geometry. But what about the very first import? I think it's a pain to manually assign 40+ mxm materials to objects in the scene. I would like to know if there is an automated way, like the one I wrote on my first post. I guess not
  9. One thing that is great with Vray/Max is the ability to open a library file (.mat) and automatically replace all the common materials in the scene with a single click (Material/Map browser > Update Scene Materials from library). This is great for those who model outside Max, and with just a click all saved (vray) materials are back to the scene. So, as Maxwell Max plugin can't save mxm in a mat file, what would be the best workflow to assign/update the materials in a scene?? Do I always have to open each mxm and manually assign it to the objects in the scene?? I miss an automated assignemt. Any ideas? Thank you. Ricardo
  10. As we do interior renderings, I would like to know which is the most realistic rendering package out there. Is Vray or Brazil? I don´t care for prices for the moment, I´m looking for a "photo like" rendering. Thank you, Ricardo
