Hi guys, Same old question what laptop to buy. want something fast -weight and price not really a concern. Probably will want xp pro 32 to match the rest of the office environment. If it was xp64 would that be compatible with the rest of the network on xp32 and can DR be mixed 32 and 64 bit .....would be nice to have more ram. Not thinking macbook ....mainly because no experience with them...but open to being convinced. Oh i assume still stay clear of vista for using autocad...max....v-ray.....etc. All comments welcome Cheers Tdarcy

Yeah thought abut doing that but you would think there should be a tick box for ignore hidden edges in your selection.

Ok this is probably a realy easy answer but i give up lookin for it.... Simple box ..editable mesh... in edge selection mode how do i select all the edges without selecting the hidden diagonal edges. PLease help its doin my head in

Not to worry Missoni, I've used nearly all the colour mapping types at different times with all sorts of results some good some bad .....I was just feeling sorry for poor old linear. HEHE.

Try increasing the reflection IOR to something like 3
